JOB CREATION PROGRAM

To develop and manage various job creation initiatives for the unemployed and mobilise for skills development programs to empower the beneficiaries

HOUSEHOLD FOOD SECURITY & NUTRITION

To provide access to food and nutrition to vulnerable groups through effective and efficient food distribution centres.

ZIMELENI MZANSI - FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM HOUSEHOLD GARDEN

To identify, develop and manage flagship projects that are aimed at empowering communities to manage their own sustainable income generating projects including household gardens.

SOCIAL RELIEF OF DISTRESS - “DISASTER RELIEF”

To design, manage an emergency and disaster response capacity to enable quicker, reliable and coordinated response to emergencies.

ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN

The programme aims to cushion children from the harsh reality of a fragmented society and other social ills in societies around us by promoting family and community care for vulnerable children.

EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT (ECD)

The project aims to manage the development, evaluation and maintenance of policy, program and systems for early childhood development. To increase access to and quality of early childhood care and education through mentorship, training of staff at the under-resourced edu-care centres into sustainable education providers and upgrade infrastructural

SUBSISTENCE FARMING

This is a program in planning, where we envision developing young farmers within the communities. Small scale farming will be encouraged, and resources mobilised to equip them to provide reasonable food for their communities while creating job opportunities as well.

COMMUNICATION, SUSTAINABILITY & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

To promote the brand and activities of ADA through targeted and sustained multi-media marketing and communications campaigns, highlighting the importance of food security, self-reliance and sustenance of communities and hence the role of ADA; To develop and implement a stakeholder engagement and partnership strategy to strengthen ADAs collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders for better sustainability of the programmes.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

To mobilise youth to be trained in skills development programs through MERSETA. This will increase the level of skilled youth within the communities we work in for effective implementation of sustainable programs.

ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER

To ensure that we restore the dignity of our people by providing them with access to clean drinking water in their communities.
